At Sandhills Friends, we believe in the power of community and support. Our local groups are designed to provide families with the tools, connections, and resources they need to navigate the challenges of raising children with special needs, rare diagnoses, and neurodivergent traits. Whether you are seeking guidance, friendship, or just a listening ear, our groups are here for you.

Moore County Rare Kids Group

A support group for families of children with rare genetic diagnoses based in Moore County, NC. This group is designed to offer a safe space for sharing experiences, finding support, and building lasting connections

Infertility & Loss Support Group

A compassionate support group for those facing infertility and loss. If you feel the need for support, this is the place to connect, share your journey, and find understanding

Neurodiversity Empowerment Network of the Sandhills

A family support group dedicated to empowering parents and caregivers of neurodivergent children. This group explores topics such as understanding neurodiversity, managing daily routines, and overcoming educational barriers.

The Sibling Circle

The Sibling Circle is a nature-based experience for children who have siblings with neurodivergent or other specialized needs. Set on a working farm and centered around the healing path of a labyrinth, this program invites neurotypical siblings into a space of reflection, connection, and growth.
