A Community of Belonging

Sandhills friends welcomed me and 1 year old, and now 3 and one year old into the fold seamlessly. Showing up to events does not trigger my social anxiety, as everyone is there to connect, seek opportunities for their children, and put them first. The social skills, learning and interests catered to our girls has given them memories that they still talk about years later. From farms, to fire stations, to playgrounds, the group has given us fun-filled mornings and fast friends every time. Adrienne is the glue of the group and when mentioned around town is the connective tissue for so many caregivers who all have ties back to Sandhills Friends Group. We are forever grateful for her and this group.

A Community of Belonging

I am beyond grateful to Adrienne for opening her heart and connecting me and my family to this amazing group! As we have transitioned from our home in NYC to creating a new life and laying down roots in the Sandhills area, I feel so fortunate to know that I already have a group of beautiful friends for my daughter, husband and myself. We felt included and supported before we even moved here, thanks to Adrienne and this group. Through the events and resources provided here, we have grown to know the area better each day and immerse ourselves in all that the Sandhills has to offer, while building friendships and making memories. Incredible Support

Oh wow where do I start? Sandhills Friends Group has been a WONDERFUL outlet for me the last 2 years as a caregiver! It is not only educational and fun, but also the sense of community that we have is something that can’t be beat! Socialization is not something that you always have in private care. But it is SO IMPORTANT to find outlets such as this group. I will forever be thankful for Adrienne many others who make these events happen for the children. They create memories that last forever and friendships too! Thank you Sandills Friends for being my outlet!

One-of-a-Kind Group

I discovered Sandhills Friends shortly after I became a Mama, and let me tell you what a gift this group has been. From being understood, included, and involved this group enriched our lives.
