Small toys can make a big impact.
Throughout November, Sandhills Friends is partnering with the Aberdeen Police Department to collect new or gently used plush toys for children experiencing difficult or traumatic situations.
First responders often carry stuffed animals to provide a familiar source of comfort and reassurance when a child needs it most. Families are invited to participate in this month-long Season of Giving by donating a plush toy and helping us fill the hands—and hearts—of children throughout Moore County.
This is also a simple, meaningful way to introduce children to kindness, generosity, and giving back to their community.
